IN MEMORIAM TO GAIDAMAKA, SPIKER AND GAKHA!

Mykhailo "Gaidamaka" Dimitrov

Andriy "Spiker" Vitvitsky

Vadim "Gakha" Gayukha

Civil people don't even imagine how vulnerable and helpless a human body is. Neither a bullet nor a shrapnel will bounce off it, but will definitely cut, tear, mutilate, leaving no chance. And then you just look at pale bodies on bloody bearers. Bodies of those, who just hour ago was walking beside you, speaking, dreaming, and by payd every effort to win the right for freedom of own state. You just look at them, refusing inevitability. Then you close lifeless eyes of the one, who had called you a comrade and still refuse to believe. You share a dugout, a pack of cigaretes, a piese of bread and ammo.
 - where are you serving, soldiers?
- we are soldiers, but warriors. And we aren't serving.
This brief answer explains everything - this is the authenticity and sincerity of free people. Never offend those proud, noble and devoted men, who died in a battle, calling them "victims." They knew what they were going for, for whom and for what. They were ready for everything even if we aren't ready to accept it.

Last couple of days marked with tragic a series of tragic news from the frontline. The Ukrainian nationalist movement has lost it two great members. On January 16, 30-year-old Andriy "Spiker" Vitvitsky died in battle at near Avdyivka town, Donetsk Oblast. Befor the war Andriy had studied at the Catholic Higher Theological Seminary in Lviv and planned to devote his life to church service. At home Andriy left mother, sister, wife and little daughter. News about the second loss came next day. Mykhailo "Gaidamaka" Dimitrov - 1983 year born, a native of Smila town, Cherkassy Oblast - died on January 17 in result of severe injuries, received in battle near Avdyivka a day before. At home he left a daughter. On the night of January 19, the Pravyi Sector Volunteer Corps (DUC) paramedic from Kherson  Vadim "Gakha" Gayukha died of heart attack in the conflic zone. With the beggining of Russian military invasion to Ukraine Vadim decided to join military forces as a volunteer, he was warned by doctors to refuse this idea due to a heart problem. Nevertheless, Vadim joined the DUC mediac unit, rejoicing that he can implement and share own medical skills there.
