Red-black flag: symbol of the struggle for national liberation

The revolutionary flag was actively used OUN UPA rebels. In fact, the UPA had won, the world would long ago recognized this flag along with the blue and yellow state flag...

In the history of nations fate flags really strange happens. Because in World War II was defeated by the ideology of National Socialism dictator Hitler was forbidden his flag of the Third Reich - a red flag with a swastika. But certainly a red flag dictator Stalin, only with a hammer and sickle, long pressed the independence of nations, jammed the framework of modern empire with its capital in Moscow, where he built a system quite similar to Hitler. Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (VMRO) was under the flag of a red-black flag - the same as in our UPA. Incidentally, this revolutionary organization was born in Macedonia in 1893. As our Galicia was divided between several states as well as Macedonia - so that's fighters fought against the Serbian military units, and against the Bulgarian and Greek armies. In autumn 1934, rebel bullets VMRO even killed King Alexander of Yugoslavia and Karadordevic I... Ultimately units rebels's fighters were killed by the communist regimes of Yugoslavia and Bulgaria only in the mid-1940s. But right VMROnot lost - and in 1992 on the ruins of Yugoslavia faced the Republic of Macedonia, which, however, still looks askance Bulgaria, and even worse - Greece. However, enough that the world through the United Nations recognized the independence of the institutions of freedom-loving nation and its right to build their own state - it struggles in the red and black flag of Macedonia did not give death, and freedom ...

Also noteworthy the flag of the Spanish Falangist Party, created in the early 30s of last century. About this flag "crooked words did not say" even in the Soviet Union because Franco, Falangist leader until his death in 1975 was leader of the state, legitimate and respected by world . The third red and black flag, which will tell you - with an inscription FSLM, because it is - an abbreviation Sandinista National Liberation Front, founded by radical students in 1961 and is named after Augusto Sandino - the leader of the national liberation war 1927-1934 years.
