The Russian Revolution through the eyes of a Ukrainian nationalist
The Russian Revolution through the eyes of a Ukrainian nationalist
Russia pregnant with revolution, as a hundred years ago. However, the
majority of Russians do not feel its approach, though cook over low
heat frog from the old science joke. It is difficult to realize that the
approaching storm, if you yourself - all-just a drop of water in a
cloud, and the wind of history carries you somewhere.
We are,
Ukrainians, even a year ago would not have believed it, as soon as our
streets ablaze. A year ago, exactly on May 18, we held a peaceful
opposition rally "Arise, Ukraine!" And hoped instead mafia Yanukovych
elect at least one herbivore Yatsenuk accountant. A year ago, a
policeman in the splash of a gas canister was considered a terrible
extremism. A year ago, no one knew about Dmitry Yaros. A year ago,
people are now shooting at each other, quietly went shopping at one and
the same stores, and the political struggle waged mainly on the
Internet. A year ago, the constitution seemed law, police power -
immutable and infinite, state structure - monolithic, as the ceiling
concrete bunker. Just a year ago - a lifetime ago.
A year ago in Ukraine had the same problems, the same fault line that now exploded in revolution. Less than a year ago, in the summer, a little town Vradievka (Mykolaiv region) rebellious people gutted the local police, because the girl was raped by policeman. July 2, 2013 on the wall of the police station in Vradievka crashed first "Molotov cocktail." "Vradievka - only the beginning!" - Wrote on the walls of Ukrainian radicals, but no one took them seriously.
Ukraine
every year periodically shaking rumble deaf - Vradievka, Language
maidan, Tax Maidan. We heard them, but an approaching storm scale never
imagined. Until the last drop - a police crackdown Evromaydana -
suddenly overflowed the cup.
Russians do not feel
approaching revolution, because they see no signs known from books -
the movement of the lower classes, the strikes, the proletarian
councils. They do not, because the 2014 revolution - right.
Small
and medium entrepreneurs (crushed the oligarchs), nationalists
(embittered national humiliation), pro-democracy activists (utomlennіe
struggle for rights) - gathered critical mass at one point - and
suddenly echoed society. Suddenly came to protest those who had
previously not interested in politics at all. just went to ever hit a
police bastard in the face for everything! For all the humiliation, for
extortion, for imperious rudeness, for permissiveness, for bribes,
for indifference and arrogance of officials - all at once. And even
when the mass of the people are already biting at the bit and ran
through the cold Kiev barricades in an unknown future, only the most
perspicacious of us have seen that this situation can not be fought
peacefully. Nobody wanted war, and war was inevitable.
Russia
shakes Kondopoga, Sagra, Kuschevskaya village, Manezhka, Swamp, and
Arzamas and Biryulevo - and none of the russians still does not
understand what exactly are shaking the foundations of the regime. A
russian government is doing something to eliminate the causes of these
seizures? ...
Yevgeny Roizman once led a stunning
example - Moscow decided to hold a kind of clean-legality - revealing
dismiss any of the governors for corruption, to show people a good work,
and show to officials "firm hand". BUT! The first official - steals,
but shared with others. The second official - steals more, but his
covered by “serious people”. Third - even worse!
Lenin
wrote that a revolutionary situation - this is when the lower classes do
not want to live in the old, and the upper classes - can not
effectively manage now as before.
- Putin can stop the robbery of the Russian people?
NO!
Because the removal of the oligarchic links from the budget lead to
destabilization of the entire system, carefully constructed back in the
90s, besides money is needed - at the mercy of the police, Kadyrov and
other colonial princes.
- can Putin stop “feeding” Kadyrov?
NO! Because otherwise start a new war of independence in the Caucasus.
- can Putin afford a new full-scale war in the Caucasus?
NO!
Because Russia is in a difficult external situation, and in a terrible
internal - a new war could explode Russian streets, now they
overheated by "national question".
- can Putin solve the national question?
NO! Because he will have to crush ethnic mafia, so - shake up the oligarchic system.
- can Putin shake up the oligarchic system and stop robbing the Russian people?
NO! Vicious circle.
And
thus the system is running worse and worse. It is not independent
financially, technologically and production. Even the attempt to
replace the navigation system, which is under the control of a
potential enemy, for domestic ended in failure. Rocket fell.
And
all this - on the background of overdue ideological crisis. Burned Prague, Warsaw and Budapest, rioted Vilnius, Tbilisi, Chisinau, Kiev and Bishkek - desovietization ring is compressed around the
Empire. People are looking for freedom and new meanings. “Grandfathers
fought” and “Yuri Gagarin” may not be pillars of the national idea,
because the world, which was built by grandfathers with their bayonets,
collapsed with the Berlin Wall. Where Yuri Gagarin flew, circling U.S.
commercial satellites.
About the possible economic crisis caused by international sanctions not worth mentioning.
Machiavelli
wrote that the Emperor is allowed to build its internal policy on fear
- it is safer than love. But not to be overthrown once, sire must be
able to inspire people fear, not inspiring at the same hatred. And not
to instill hatred, we must stick to only two simple rules: do not
infringe on the women of his subjects, and not to encroach on the
property of subjects.
Dictators, frightening, but not
robbing people tend to die a natural death, without getting off the
throne. And the memory of the people they remained paradoxically good
(so was Stalin, for example, can become so Lukashenko). But Putin, like
Yanukovych - robbing. Rowing, crushes, makes great Russian into one
huge “Gazprom”. Such can not rule forever.
