Vatican and the Syrian conflict

A number of appeals and statements of the Pope Francis and other dignitaries of the Catholic Church gives us a grounds to confirm of the Vatican's engagement in the Syrian issue. Firstly, the Church is always talks from the position of peacekeeper and promoter of forgiveness and reconciliation. Secondly, Christians, including Catholics are also die during the "civil war" in Syria so it would be strange if the Catholic Church will not react on that. Thirdly, The Vatican`s harsh rhetoric on the Syrian conflict and possibility of military intervention of the Western states to their inner affairs can be considered as a continuation of quite independent, nonconformist politics implementing by the Pope of Rome.

Analytical conclusions about a radical difference between Francis and its predecessor are quite unfounded. In fact the pontificate of Francis can be considered as a logical continuation of the pontificate of Benedict XVI, it`s becomes clear after detailed consideration. Of course we couldn't expect of such open and dynamic actions from an elderly theologian, former "Grand Inquisitor" - Pope Ratzinger. But it is not about the features of character or temperament, but about a worldview, we should not forget that the Catholic Church it is not a broadcasting company that monitors the viewers' sympathy and popularity of their own shows.

Benedict XVI has established himself as a man of enough conservative views. We should not exaggerate this or talk about the rebirth of "traditionalism" but we cannot deny the fact that Benedict XVI has shown really traditionalist position regarding a number of issues. Other words - pervious Pontiff has not demonstrated traditionalist policy in general but he used definitely traditionalist approach in some moments. I talk about his critical attitude to modern humanism, that generally repeating the ideas of integral nationalism founded by Rene Guenon, even if in a gentle way. Criticising the modern world, Benedict has criticized the ideological origins of decline, which were rooted in the era of the Renaissance primarily; criticizing the ideological origins, he has deepened criticism of modernity. Taking all mentioned above we cannot deny the fact that Francis chose the same path.

Some of the modern Pharisees has called him "insincere", but Francis deserved to be named an "anti-capitalist Pope" because of his rhetoric. We can often see him smiling but it seems that the Pope's unflattering forecasts on the fate of mankind was not a joke. We should also not forget that the current Pope has mentioned one of the greatest French ultra-conservative thinkers of XIX century - Leone Blois.Probably Blois has impressed the Pope of Rome with a critique of bourgeois type of life and apologist of poverty, because the Pope has chose a name of merchant's son for his pontphicane, the son, who left the parental wealth and founded a beggarly order. However, a link to Blois - is the same as a links to de Maistre, Guenon or Evola. Considering all foregoing we should look for deeper meanings than Christian calls for "pacifism" or care about the fate of Christians in Vatican's interest towards the Syrian conflict.

So what is the Syrian conflict? This is the struggle of two political paradigms - unipolar and multipolar. Today's regime of Bashar al-Asad is one of the obstacles for creation of mondialist, unipolar world of "Global US". It's not a secret that the center of Wahhabism - Arabian peninsula is a reliable ally of the USA. Therefore the win of Wahhabism in the Syrian conflict would mean the political victory of Washington. And if future islamist regime will not fit into the US strategy - it will be replaced by "more democratic". Such "replacement" can be implemented by the "Afghanistan scenario" - yesterday's "rebels" turns into "terrorists", this will provide formal grounds for occupation of Syria by American troops.

Probably Bashar AL-Assad's defeat would should be considered as a defeat of Traditionalism in one of the fights with the forces of decline or so called "modernity" or, in particular, defeat of Christian forces in the fight with anti-Christian reality of nowadays. Today we can confidently call Assad by a man that personifies the world of harmonious existence between Christians and Muslims - adepts of traditional Islam. At the same time, representatives of "progressive" islam in cooperation with the anti-Christian forces of modern West and their companions are the enemies of Assad`s Syria. And the Pope of Rome understands it well.

Talking about the Syrian conflict Vatican calls for "peace", that implies Assad's win. Generally, Vatican's official support of a legitimate Syrian government is quite positive precedent and if the Pope of Rome will be sequential, this precedent will lead to serious consequences. We know well about the Orthodox concept of Sergianism but why nobody talks about the Catholic Sergianism, we cannot deny the fact that such concept realy exist in modern catholicism. The elasticity with which the Catholic Church has adapted to changes in the world was too much sometimes. This statement is particularly related to the second part of XX century, the epoch, which was started by the Second Vatican Council. Trying to continue to preach the Word of God by a modern words Vatican leaders did not understood, that this words had non-Christian origins, mostly distorts the meaning of Christian preaching. Being pushed to the margins by the secularization process the Church give a hand of friendship for those who pushed them, in some reasons thinking that peace with the secular forces of even with the forces of secularisation would bring some benefit for the Christian World. It was so strange to see how the Church "hid a sword" during the time when the silent war against them has been started. We hope that the Vatican's policy regarding the Syrian conflict marks the beginning of the end of such conformity.

A new, very aggressive stage of secularization process is going now in the US and Europe. Bush and Obama have become an embodiment of the Antichrist for many of American Catholics and Protestants. Blatant Christianophobia and oppression of fighters for Christian morality (anyone can be arrested and brought to trial because of call some things by their names) becomes a reverse side of homodictatorship in EU countries. The other manifestations of pure christianophobia can be noted - closing and restriction of Catholic schools, dismissal because of public recognition of belonging to Christianity, etc. Moreover, we can assert that Christianity is on the brink of legality in the West now. Under such conditions official Church can going by the way of segregation in order to save at last a "half-legal" status, OR... to resort to classic revolutionary triade "Provocation - Repression - Revolution".

Thus if the modern West is full of Antichristian phenomenon like a people and dogmas, with the sentiments, hostile to Christianity - than the Church should fight with such "Occident" and doesn't matter, is it will be the new Vendée or defeat and guerrilla warfare. The main thing - is to start this fight, but first we all should realize that the Antichrist is embodied in the essence of the Modern West: liberalism, capitalism, globalisation, cultural Marxism, transnational corporations and into imperialist thirst to enslave the lands and nations. In any case, the way to fight the Catholic sergianism is open, this struggle is righteous and the Father God will find a form of reward for us.
