ALEXANDER "TARAS" CHERKASHIN, BELARUSIAN VOLUNTEER FELL DEFENDING UKRAINE

Belarusian volunteer of the "Right Sector" Volunteer Corps, a soldier of the tactical group "Belarus" Alexander Cherkashin, callsign "Taras" died yesterday, he was wounded during the battle at Belokamenka village on August 10.

This was reported by Ukrainian journalist Natalia Nagorna.

"Friend "Taras" dyed this night. Just yesterday we tried to collect more money for his treatment after wounding, too late for now. I didn't know him personally, but it's doesn't metter now. Tactical group "Belarus," first assault company of the "Right Sector" UVC, August 10, the battle near Belokamenka village. Fourth soldier of the "Right Sector" UVC, who died in the battle, where officially didn't participate any unit of the RS UVC" - Natalia wrote.

The volunteer received a number of serious injuries during the battle and lost his hand. Alexander's friends have told us that he fought at Donbass since winter.  

"This was the most difficult time, we were under constant the enemy's bombardment. "Taras" participated in a combat operation on the liberation of soldiers of  the 80th separate airborne brigade, who were blocked in the airport Donetsk." - says his friend.
