FAREWELL WITH OLENA "EVA" ZIELINSKA

Farewell with Olena "Eva" Zelinska, the deputy head of the volunteer staff of the "Hospitallers" medical unit of the "Right Sector" UVC, the head of rehabilitation center "Hospitaliers" took place yesterday in Kyiv. Recently she was hospitalized with fracture of spine. 

"All my life I try to be exactly where I have an opportunity to help people, who are really helpless in a particular moment." - she said in one of the last interviews. That is what she was engaged.

Before the war Olena was the head of "Nika Kyiv" the charity organisation, which is engaged in help of a drug users and HIV positive people. She was also drug abuse prevention consultant and save many lost souls.

Olena also made an educational movie-training on the request of international HIV AIDS Alliance in Ukraine. She was one of the first, who dealt with problem of desomorphine drug users and consulted the British attache, journalists, police on the theme of reduction infection risks of drug users in Britain.

"This is the woman, without which I just can't imagine the "Hospitaliers" unit, the woman, who took care of our wounded guys for half a year. She gladly helped for everyone - a soldiers from the RS UVC, other volunteer battalions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, National Guard. She helped everyone without exception. a person with whom we had to continue to develop new rehabilitation center for our soldiers. Now she is no longer with us. It is difficult to say something now. Sunny, be happy there." - wrote the head of "Hospitaliers" medical unit.
