FAMOUS JOURNALIST PAVLO SHEREMET DIED IN A CAR BLAST IN KYIV

Pavlo Sheremet, a known Ukrainian journalist died in result of a car blast today morning, on July 20 in Kyiv. As the Ukainska Pravda news agency reports the car exploded at the intersection of the streets of Bogdan Khmelnitskiy and Ivan Franko.

The car he was driving belonged to Olena Prytula, a founding editor of the Ukrainska Pravda.

Pavlo Sheremet was born and grew in Belarus. Before became a journalist he had worked in a banking sphere. His journalist carrier Sheremet started at the Belarusian television, but in a short time of work he was arrested and received a conditional sentence because of conflict with Lukashenko's regime. This forced him to move to the Russian Federation, where Pavlo used to work in the ORT TV channel as a news anchorman for the Vremya news program.

Then he moved to Ukraine. For the last five Pavlo Sheremet worked as a journalist for the Ukrainska Pravda and many radio stations and TV channels. For all this time Pavlo has proved himself as a first class journalist, real master of his craft.

Pavlo wasn't afraid to write about us in contrary to an informational blockade that has been launched against our movement. It was thanks to him the Ukrainska Pravda (one of the biggest UKraine's web information agency) lasunced its series of reports about the Yevhen Konovalets Sergeant School. Today Pavlo Sheremet was about to make report about the Azov's action in support of the Ukrainian miners.
Today we lost one of a few of our friends in Ukraine's journalistic sphere. Against the background of a gray mass of controlled media Pavlo Sheremet was a real man who wasn't afraid of the truth, no matter how inconvenient it may be.

Wrote the Azov movement on their web resource.
