The "Azov" regiment, a few words on future goals, ideology and Russia.
GOALS OF THE REGIMENT AND THE GENERAL POLITICAL VISION OF THE SITUATION IN UKRAINE
“To fight till victory. Our minimum objective is to return all the territories of Ukraine. However, there is a more general guideline: "Today Ukraine - tomorrow the entire Rus’ and Europe!" We're talking about the "Reconquista," yes, with a capital letter. However, we must understand that now the priority is the protection of Ukraine in the current conflict. Although the way it happens clearly demonstrates the failure of the republican-democratic project. The political task is to establish a new system that is called "Natiocracy" (the rule of the nation in its own state) and to eliminate the elements of the systems of oligarchic capitalism and communism.”

OFFICIAL IDEOLOGY OF THE REGIMENT, MEANING OF SYMBOLS AND THE NAMES OF LEADERS
“The regiment has not the ideology, but worldview. The ideology is the concept closer to politics, more narrow. Our worldview can be defined as socially-oriented right-wing nationalism with a considerable traditionalist component. I want to underline that the term "social" has no relationship to any manifestation of "leftism." We just view a society as a single organism in which self-interest must not contradict the good of the nation.
Of course, the organic unity is impossible without the decisive role of the national identity, and it draws its strength from the national Tradition. In general, all is complementary...
The main symbol is a sign of "Idea of the Nation": a monogram composed of the Ukrainian letter «I» (Russian "И") and the letter "H" (written in Old Slavic manner). In addition, it visually resembles a "wolf hook" - an ancient military-aristocratic sign that was quite common throughout Europe, including Ukraine. It still may be seen on the coats of arms of many cities. Leader of the movement is Andriy Biletsky.”

ATTITUDE TO RUSSIANS IN GENERAL AND RUSSIAN NATIONALISTS IN PARTICULAR
“Fraternal. We realize that Russians are the victims of enslavement and genocide by Putin and his KGBist pack. This is a direct continuation of the genocide of peoples who got under the yoke of Bolshevism. In 1991 the USSR didn't fall, it just repainted itself.
As part of the "Azov" regiment fight a lot of Russian volunteers. Among them may be found the dead, the wounded, and those who acquired the citizenship of Ukraine and military awards. This alliance is sealed by blood of the fallen heroes, and from that moment could start rethinking the relationship of Ukrainians and Russian. Common struggle against the red plague is the key to the fraternal relations in the future.”

SUPPORT OF THE POPULATION
“Support of the population surpasses the most optimistic expectations. Our soldiers feel that behind their backs stands the entire Ukrainian people, and not simply relies on their protection, but also very thoroughly covers and sustains these backs. In the liberated territories of red Donbas we are also satisfied with the situation. The population mainly supports us. Implementing the scenario of the Soviet system’s revival sobered many individuals brainwashed by Putin's propaganda.
After all, they felt nostalgic for the Brezhnev era rather than "war communism." A short period of reign of the neo-Bolsheviks - and the majority of such a public saw the light, whereas normal people (who are the majority) from the very beginning were on our side. It is characteristic that the public of Mariupol appealed to the leadership of the regiment with a request for the protection of children's matinees during the last Christmas holidays. I guess the children are entrusted only to those who are credible themselves.”
