ON RECENT EVENTS IN SKOPJE AND PARALLELS WITH UKRAINE

On recent events in Skopje: Macedonians have shown an example of direct civil power, when few hundred of indifferent citizens entered to the premises of Parliament to spend an educative conversation with the elected officials.

Expectedly, both the NATO Secretary General and Brussels are strongly condemn such actions. This is stated in a joint statement by the EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn.

"We strongly condemn the attack on members of Parliament in Skopje. Violence in Parliament are totally unacceptable and we call for calm and restraint. The interior Ministry and the police must ensure the safety of Parliament and its members ... Interior Ministry and the police must ensure security of the parliament and its members. We note with satisfaction the election of Talat Jeffrey to the post of speaker of parliament." - reads the statement.

One must be clarified in the situation - Talat Jeffrey is a pro-Albanian separatist. Being an officer of Macedonian Armed Forces, in 2001 he deserted to Albania-backed illegal armed groups that commited terrorist-subversive activity in the territory of Macedonia. Upon completion of conflict Jeffrey had continued his activities in the country as a MP and a deputy defence minister.

What conclusion we can draw from the above - when the conflict in Ukraine is over, and we will see former terrorists in the Parliament, the NATO and EU functionaries also will condemn our actions, when we will throwing them out of there.
