THE LAW OF THREE SPIKELETS - NEVER TO FORGET!

On August 7, 1932, issued a decree of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR, "About protection of the property of state enterprises, kolkhozes and cooperatives, and strengthening of the public (socialist) property." According to this law, an execution by shooting with the confiscation of all property or, the presence of mitigating circumstances, the deprivation of liberty for a period of not less than 10 years with the confiscation of all property was envisaged. Such punishment had been applying even to Ukrainian children who, being starved, dared to pick up a few spikes that remained after harvesting in  kolkhoz fields. Amnesty was forbidden. Over 150 thousand people have been convicted during the year.
