NATIONALISTS WERE PICKETING THE ROMANIAN CULTURE CENTER IN CHERNIVTSI

Last wednesday, Ukrainian nationalists, members of patriotic organisations held a picket of the Consulate and Cultural Center of Romania in the city of Chernivtsi. By this action the Ukrainian patriots expressed their indignation on the declaration proclaimed by the Alliance of the 100th Unification Anniversary in the Romanian Parliament.

The Romanian organisation's statement contains a brazen appeal to the Ukrainian government with the requirement to increase the number of Romanian schools and privileges for the Romanian population in the regions of their compact residence in Ukraine. Ukrainian nationalists consider such appeals to be inadmissible, since there are more then 120 various Romanian preschool institutions and schools operate in the Bukovina region, while the Ukrainian population of northen Romania has been deprived possibility to study on their native language. Therefore, before demanding something from Ukraine, the Romanians should initially establish a system with the rights of the Ukrainian national minority in their own country. 

Bukovina - the territory of peaceful coexistence of different peoples of European civilization! And such "declarations" have only one purpose - to destroy this harmony. And who will benefits of this first and foremost - you know it yourself.
