RUSSIAN FEDERATION RESIDENT DETAINED IN POLAND FOR HELPING ARRANGE ANTI-UKRAINIAN ACTIONS FOR FUNDS OF A RUSSIAN OLIGARCH
Pro-Russian functionaries in Poland were first who publicly identified the detained woman. It was find out that she is related to Alexander Usovsky, who organized anti-Ukrainian campaigns in Poland, Slovakia and Hungary in 2014 for the money of the oligarch Malofeeev.
Recall, on May, 17, the Internal Security Agency of the Republic of Poland reported on detainment a citizen of Russia who participated in hybrid measures against Poland. It should soon be deported from the country. The agency's press release says that she took active part in the Kremlin proxyes campagin on consolidation pro-Russian groups in Poland around work for two goals, that are currently in pot priority for Russia's external influence structures in the country - namely fanning of Polish-Ukrainian hostility in social and political spheres and influence on Polish historical politics with further imposition of Russian narrative into it.
From several sources it became known that the detainee one is Ekaterina Tsivilskaya (pol - Katarzyna Cywilska). Details about the detainee person were reported by the REGNUM Russian porpaganist media agency. The fact of Tsivilskaya detainment and upcoming deportation was mentioned on the Cogdziekiedy Asker Bærum FB page, moderated by the activist of Jan Wsół, the Obóz Wielkiej Polski Russia-proxy organisation.
In comments under her photo on FB, Tsivilskaya calls herself a Russian. From her page in GoldenLine social network (LinkedIn analogue), we can find out that in October 2013 she began studying at started postgraduate studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, but it unclear whether she had graduated since other sourses indicates that she has a dissertation unfinished. It is also known that she worked as Russian-Polish translator. In her April post on the social network, Tsivilskaya indicates that she lives in Krakow, has Russian citizenship, has a permanent residence permit in Poland and that she "is looking for work in advertising, marketing, Polish-Russian business or Russian bussiness language courses" and "willingly will help establish business contacts between firms in Poland and Russia."
In her FB-profile, Tsivilskaya indicated that she had lived in Voronezh until 2013 and worked at the Voronezh Institute of High Technologies, the Voronezh Branch of the Russian Academy of Civil Service and the Voronezh State University. In addition, a search on FB reveals that Tsivilskaya is a moderator in the "Niesmiertelny Pulk - Bezsmertny Polk" (that is a Kremli propagandist project that promotes a Soviet historical interpritation of the WW2, as well as promotion of the Russian World idea) and the "ROSJAwSUPERLATYWACH" FB communities.
Katerina Tsivilskaya is related to Alexander Usovsky, a Russia-proxy resident of Belarus, whose correspondence was promulgated by Ukrainian Cyber Alliance grup in early 2017. It is known that in 2014 Usovsky received 100 thousand EUR from representatives of the Russian oligarch Malofeeev for organizing anti-Ukrainian actions in Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. In Poland, Usovsky established conections with the Oboz Wielkiej Polski organisation, which had also been closelu cooperation with Tsivilskaya and the encirclement of Mateusz Piskorski - a former deputy of the Polish Parliament and the leader of the unregisterd party Zmiana, accused by the Polish prosecutor's office in cooperation with the Russian and Chinese intelligence.
Archive of correspondence in Facebook between Tsivilskaya and Usovsky also reveals a lot of information about her activities in Poland, her placement in Krakow, and her attitude to Ukraine. The correspondence covers the period from 2014 to 2017. In particular, Civilska points out that she came to Krakow at the invitation of mr. Mykiashev - a former prefessor Voronezh Univercity, who settled at the Jagiellonian University - but she didn't like to live in Poland. To Poland she moved with daughter and soon married with a local resident.
Through Tsivilskaya, Usovsky searched in Poland organizations and people who would help him to spread Russian propaganda, in particular, with regard to Ukraine. In one of the correspondences we find the request of Usovsky to Tsivilskaya to find journalists from Polish editions, among those with clean reputation and who could sympathize to Russia. Usovsky offers to pay 250 PLN for an article of 1-1.5 thous signs; the funds should be sent through Tsivilska's accounts in Polish banks.
According for the correspondence, in 2015, Tsivilskaya informed Usovsky on her plans to back to Russia, but Usovsky asks her to not hurry up since she can "become the most needed Russian person in Krakow."
According to the spokesman of the Internal Security Agency of the Republic of Poland, besides the civic detention, four more foreigners (citizenship not specified) associated mrs. Tsivilskaya to receive a five-year ban on entry into Poland. Within this case, the Agency conducts joint actions with the prosecutor's office concerning the citizens of Poland associated with Kateryna Tsivilskaya and her group. Several of them may be notified of suspicion of committing a crime. As for Kateryna Tsivilskaya, she will be deported from Poland in the near future.
