The SBU has such information, since Utkin has left too many traces of Russian crimes in the Donbass." - the SBU head said in 2017.
Earlier Ukraine's security services published intercepts of telephone conversations between Dmytry Utkin and Igor Cornet - the "Interior Minister" of the LNR Group - as well as his conversations with the General of the Russian Armed Forces Yevgeny Nikiforov (calling "Tambov").
The Wagner private military company - that was named with a callsing of its founder - acting unofficially in Russia, but with actual support of the authorities. Official Moscow doesn't recognize the military company existence, but its mercenaries, and Utkin himself, receive state awards time after time.
