"Right Sector" supports the amendments to the Constitution, proposed by the Council of Churches

Recently the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations proposed to make some amendments to the Constitution. In particular, the head of Ukrainian churches and religious organizations have offered to consolidate a number of norms in the Constitution, according to which the value of human life and the right to life recognized by the state from conception to natural death (that is the law that allows to prohibit abortions constitutionally). In addition, the initiatives to clearly define marriage as a union between a family man and a woman, and the law on secrecy of confession have been submitted.

The "Right Sector" military-political movement supports these initiatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, and emphasizes that the aforementioned norms become part of the Constitution of the National Ukrainian State in future!

Now, during the confrontation with Moskovia it is extremely important to deny the negative legacy of Moscow-Bolshevik occupation of 1920-1991 years. Especially the consequences of radical dechristianization initiatives inside the society and state, introduced by the Soviet authorities.  In addition, the implementation of initiatives AUCCRO have positive consequences in the plane of overcoming the  challenges of nowadays.

At the same time we have fully understand the following two points. First, there is little hope that the AUCCRO initiatives gonna be supported by the current convocation of the Ukrainian Parliament. Secondly, the creation of new constitution, initiated by Poroshenko is aimed to implementing of the "Minsk agreements", and therefore - concessions for the Kremlin. If the new constitution is adopted in the "Moscow`s edition", the "Right Sector" will consider this as the next criminal act of the Poroshenko`s regime.

Only the National Constitution, adopted after the victory of the National Revolution is able to provide all appropriate rights of Ukrainian nation and create a legal ground for restoring order in our God-given land!
