A BOOK DEVOTED TO UKRAINIAN NATIONALISM WAS ISSUED IN RUSSIA

A book devoted to Ukrainian nationalism was issued in Russia. The book is a compilation of articles written by Igor Zagrebelny under the title "Tryzub named after Don Quixote". The book introduces the Russian reader with the present tendencies of Ukrainian nationalism and traditionalism.

It should be noted that publishers have made quite a bold move, because publication of such material in Russia may pull the criminal liability in terms of Putin's neo-Bolshevik regime. Today, hundreds of Russian nationalists are imprisoned for the rejection of Putin's ideology, which has the features of anti-fascism, multiculturalism, the glorification of Bolshevik past.

The publishers have issued the book as a scientific publication in order to protect themselves from further prosecution: "Every phenomenon should be studied from "original sources", not from prejudiced propagandist "paraphrases", and the phenomenon of "Ukrainian nationalism" is not an exception... In the light of recent events, the topic of Ukrainian nationalists, "Banderites" became one of the most popular in Russian news feeds, but virtually none of authentic text outlining the ideological positions of the "Banderites" was not translated into Russian till now. Any phenomenon (positive or negative) should be carefully analyzed before giving any judgment on this, including the Banderite phenomenon. This compilation is intended to promote a detailed studying. His purpose is not to  "inciting" a new conflict, but give some minimal information about the phenomenon of Ukrainian nationalism, based on the source works."

Nevertheless, Russian intellectuals are not indifferent to Ukrainian nationalist ideas of nowadays, because it concerns Russia and its existence: "The author gives a clear description of the Kremlin Patriarchy:
Unfortunately, the modern Russian Orthodox Church became a business-corporation headed by ex-KGB officer Kirill Gundyaev and mouthpiece of Putin's regime. Some exceptions only prove the rule.
Igor Zagrebelny sympathizes to Russian nationalists and make an unambiguous verdict for Kremlin KGB-system.
The current Putin`s regime continues to think in terms of the empire, not the nation, and this leads the Russian nation to the disappearance through the moral degradation and assimilation in the sea of colonized nations, the destruction of their own culture as a result of copying the Western lifestyle.
