The battle in Mukachevo and the Minsk agreements

Analyzing the events in Mukachevo the most part of public attention was focused on the problems of smuggling and corruption in the local police. Of course, these problems are extremely important, but we simply cannot observe the completeness of the situation, focusing only at this side of problem.

In order to observe full picture first of all we need to realize that the existence of the "Right Sector" is the most biggest problem for Poroshenko`santi-Ukrainian regime now. And he start to make a steps to "solve this problem" long before the Mukachevo incident.

Take a look at the chronology of events:

February 12, 2015, the "complex of measures to implementation the Minsk agreements" was signed during the second summit in Minsk. Paragraph 10 of the document says on "disarmament of all irregular groups." Given the fact that the second Minsk summit was the surrendering of the Ukrainian positions, it is easy to guess that this paragraph talks exactly about the elimination of "illegal" (nationalist) volunteer units - the "Right Sector" volunteer corps and the "OUN" volunteer battalion. "Uncontrolled" nationalist battalions not gonna be silently watch the surrendering of Ukrainian territory, it was clear for Moscow, Kyiv and so called "Western partners".

Many people expected for start the attacks on the volunteer movement since 13-14 February and all they was right. Since March the authorities started to increase pressure on the "Right Sector" to force the nationalists leave their positions at the frontline, first of all Peski village - one of the most hottest places at Donbass.

April 2015, the "Right Sector" soldiers are forced to leave the the frontline leaving a number of "half-legal" assault and reconnaissance units at the positions near Donetsk. Moreover, soldiers of the 8th company "Aratta" were forced to go to Mariupol with another chevrons to hide their membership in the "Right Sector" volunteer corps.

Then it became hotter, the military camp of the 5th battalion of the "Right Sector" was blocked in Dnipropetrovsk region in late April, however, this "action" did not bring any benefits for the government, instead, it shows a large level of support of the nationalist volunteers among the Ukrainian citizens and the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The system have took this fact into account and change forcibly methods to informational, massive informational attack, directed to discreditation of whole the military volunteer movement of Ukraine has been started in all the pro-government media sources. In parallel, we could observe increasing of MIA activities towards the Ukrainian nationalist organisations.

Now the most recent chronology, July 3, the March of Svyatoslav took place in the heart of Kyiv, during wich the soldiers of the "Right Sector", "OUN", "Aidar" battalions have declared their requirements to the government: Officially recognize the fact of war with Russia; Break off relations with the state-aggressor; Deny the Minsk process; Nationalize Russian business in Ukraine, which involved in financing of the enemy`s army; Renew the offensive actions to the occupied territories of Donbass.

Perhaps, the March of Svyatoslav show to Poroshenko and Avakov the fragility of their positions, so they decide to speed up the process of neutralisation the "Right Sector" military-political movement and start to act. On July 6 a group of activists was arrested in Kherson and Dnepropetrovsk. The "Right Sector" leadership start to receive more and more information about the MIA plans on further repressions of a nationalists all around Ukraine. And finally - Mukachevo.

Tow we have no doubts about the fact that the incident in Mukachevo was was pre-planned operation, which was directed to final elimination of the "Right Sector". But is this attack was local or all-Ukrainian - that is the question! In the first case the central government simply took advantage of the situation. In the second - from the beginning of the Lanier`s operation they knew about the his plans, giving its endorsement. Coordination could occurred between the local mafia gang and the representatives of MIA or at the highest level - Poroshenko-Medvedchuk (We should also remind that Viktor Medvedchuk is a relative of Putin). The second version looks more believable considering the speed at which the authorities have respond to events in Transcarpathia.

Whatever, happened is that had to happen: the internal-occupation regime continue to commit pressure on the patriots doing the will of foreign forces and trying to secure their domination. Maybe it's for the better, because the behavior of the government will allow people to leave their illusions and go to the real actions.
