RUSSIAN PARLIAMENT HAS CAME TO THE DEFENCE OF SODOMITES

Recently, the Russian parliament once again has proved that the image of Putin's Russia as a "stronghold of the European conservatism and traditionalism" exists only in the informational space of particular media resources.

The Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation rejected a draft law on administrative responsibility for public expression and propaganda of homosexualism.

In particular, the draft law was criticized by Vladimir Pligin, a member of Putin's party the "United Russia." As result, it even wasn't filed to a vote.

Note, that the practice of criminal or administrative liability for propaganda of homosexualism existed in most European countries up to 70's. Later it was canceled under the influence of extreme-liberal organisations and political movements. In addition, the Soviet Russia was one of the first countries, who did that. Only after some time this all-European norm was renewed in the USSR.

As regards modern Russia, local "LGBT organisations" has its own media-space, clubs and any other means of propaganda.
