"ANTI-FASCIST MARCH" WAS CANCELED IN KYIV
January 19, so-called "anti-fascists" planned to hold a march in Kyiv, near the "Zhovtneviy" cinema. According to the organizers, the main purpose of the march was a call the society to fight against the Ukrainian nationalist movement, whose members are participating in the anti-terrorist operation in Donbass, and directly against such volunteer-military formations as the "Azov" regiment, the "Carpathian Sich" and the "OUN" battalions, the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps "Right Sector" and other, whose ideology is based on patriotic-nationalist basis.
The organisers of the march claimed that such development of the nationalist-patriotic movement is ostensibly threatening to Ukraine. However, the sense of such claim is unclear for the soldiers of the above noted military formations, who defended the freedom of Ukraine during last few years.
Also note, that the members of so-called "anti-fascist" organisations often encountered among the Kremlin-backed terrorist groups of Donbass. And that's one thing, if such people talk about the "Ukrainian nazis" somewhere in Moscow, trying to justify the Kremlin's invasion into Ukraine, and absolutely different, when these people use similar propagandist rhetoric in the heart of our Fatherland.
Shortly before the beginning of the anti-patriotic action it was canceled by the efforts of a group of Kyiv's activists, who gathered near the "Zhovtneviy" cinema.
"We came here to prevent this event because of its anti-national character. These people gathered here to hold a march against the Ukrainian patriots, against the members of military-volunteer formations, against the entire Ukrainian in general. We have no right to allow them to hold this march against the defenders of our country." - the chairman of Kyiv's branch of the Civic Corps "Azov" Serhiy Filimonov commented the situation.
