POLISH NATIONALISTS COMMEMORATED THE VICTIMS OF HOLODOMOR

Despite the revitalization of pro-Russian forces in Poland as well as intensification of informational attacks against the Polish nationalist movement its activists proved once again their willingness to follow the path of Ukrainian-Polish reconciliation.

November 20, the activists of Polish autonomus nationalist movement commemorated the victims of the Holodomor 1932-33; the nationalists have  placed flowers and lit candles in memory of the victims of the Communist genocide in Ukraine.

"The Holodomor, also known as the Great Famine is one of the most tragic events in the history of Europe. The man-made famine, meticulously planned by communists, de facto was an act of genocide which reached its peak in Ukraine, it had been causing inhumane torments, numerous acts of cannibalism and death of millions of people, mostly Ukrainians, Russians and Poles. A ceremonial opening of the memorial to the victims of the Great Famine in Ukraine took place in our city last year. The anniversary of this tragedy, which is usually marked on the last week of November, is approaching with long strides and it gave us an extra boost to commemorate of the victims of the tragic events." -  the autonomous nationalists of Lublin reported on their official page. 

Despite attempts by the Kremlin political strategists to sow discord between the Ukrainian and Polish people by means of cheap provocations, the both nations are moving steadily towards convergence.

It seems that nationalists on both sides of the border have finally matured to such level of consciousness, which will not allow the enemies to plant new seeds of inner conflicts in Europe.
