23 December, the anniversary of Basil Bilas and Dmitro Danylyshyn heroical death.

December 23 Ukrainian nationalists traditionally honoring the memory of two OUN fighters - Vasyl Bilas and Dmytro Danylyshyn.

Bilas and Danylyshyn died a heroic death at the hands of Polish soldiers. Both of them belonged to the legendary OUN division of Drohobych. Both of them gave their youth for revolutionary struggle. Both of them passed through purgatory of prison and investigation. Both of them died honourably.

Bilas and Danylyshyn was not the only UVO and OUN members who gave their lives in the interwar period in the fight against Polish army. The bloody harvest of the Second World War and subsequent anti-Bolshevik struggle came after the permanent revolutionary struggle of interwar time. Nationalists also loses their brethren in the days of the formal independence of Ukraine. Finally, new Bloody Harvest coming now - Maidan and the current Moscow-Ukrainian War. However, memory of Bilas and Danylyshyn persists still - despite the Hecatomb those who have fallen after their sacrifice.

So why we still remember them? Well, we have a several answers.

Perhaps it's the God's Providence defined who exactly has become a symbol of Ukrainian revolutionary nationalism. There is a lot of heroes. Someone gave his life for the Motherland, but his name well known just for a few historians. Another just departed into eternity and left unknown for generations to come.Finally, someone had to serve Ukraine not only by the struggle and heroic death, but by his name. God`s Will for all...

So if Bilas and Danylyshyn had become a symbol, we must remain faithful to historical tradition, which was inherited from predecessors. It helps ou to keep the tradition of unity between the different generations and not betray your own essence. Keeping the traditions of ancestors we help ourselves to remain faithful for ideas and affairs, that we have inherited. The world is changing rapidly. We should stay as unchanged rod - this is the only way that we can respond appropriately to challenges, that world bring us.

Bilas and Danylyshyn - is an example of the initiative minority, which conduct the nation by the price of own lives. I think it's not the last time when Ukrainian nationalists will be the initiative minority, and not the last time people will not going to understand us. Moreover, crooks-politicians always try to befuddle people. Here let me repeat the words of my speech at the VII Grand Assembly of "Tryzub of Stepan Bandera" in 2012: "We have never had and don't intend to please everybody, we never listened the whine of political impotents as the same as enemies Ukrainian nationalism. Our actions will be evaluated by future generations, because the nation - is not only the current generation, but "the dead, the living and the yet unborn" to the name of those we conduct our uncompromising struggle for the right to be masters on our lands for free and decent future of next generations". Let the politicians trying hard to be "white and fluffy", hiding his rotten souls behind PR and political technologies. We have our sacred duty - to fight for the truth.
