"We don't look to the West through rose-colored glasses" - Andriy Tarasenko (one of the Right Sector leaders)
On the anniversary of the Budapest Memorandum Andriy Tarasenko said about Western pseudo-help for Ukraine.
"Budapest memorandum signed 20 years ago. Then Ukraine lost nuclear weapons in exchange for "guarantees" from Russia, the US and the UK. Now we are at war with Russia. Washington and London provide their pseudo-support for Ukraine in this time (with powerful support of our media who distort any information in light of "the West helps us"). Occupation of Crimea or the outbreak of war in eastern Ukraine does not forced western leaders to "worry" enough to provide effective assistance for Ukraine." - One of the Right Sector leaders wrote in his Facebook page.
"We need to stop looking to the West through the pink glasses" - mr. Tarasenko said, emphasizing correctness of nationalists position regarding the West. "In this regard, I recalled the words of Basil Ivanyshyn: According to Western axioma - Russia must be an empire, while Ukraine can be only neo-colony, not complete nation-state". We don't look to the West through rose-colored glasses and urge others to do the same. This is our nationalist position. Not all listen to us unfortunately.
