MAY 2, ODESSA LIBERATION DAY

On May 2 two years ago anti-Ukrainian forces made attempt to bring chaos into one more Ukrainian city and create one more Kremlin-puppet "republic." That day attendees of a patriotic march in Odessa were attacked by armed people, who were supported by representatives of local police.

Despite the fact, that the attackers were armed with firearms Odessa patriots were managed to suppress the attack and defend their city. In addition, big number of ordinary Odessa residents took the streets to help the Ukrainian patriots to kick the terrorists out from the seaside city. Andriy Birukov and Ihor Ivanov, two patriots sacrificed their lives for the peaceful sky over the Ukrainian Odessa that day.

During the street battles the patriots had managed to oust the separatists from the city streets to the camp of pro-Russian forces in the Kulikovo field. After some time the camp ceased to exist. After that, trying to escape from Odessa residents the separatists barricaded themselves inside the house of trade unions. 

When the patriots were attempted to break through the barricades the fire broke out inside the building, and that was really looks like a typical staging made by the Kremlin agents specially for the Russian TV. It is clear that the arson in the trade unions building was made from the inside while the patriots were outside the building. In addition, there are a lot of very "uncomfortable" videos for the Kremlin's prapagandists, when we can see that the Odessa patriots had helped the separatists to leave the burning building... 

Unfortunately, at the official level the events, that took place in Odessa on May 2, 2014 were classified as a "tragedy." Undoubtedly, two patriots of Ukraine were killed and that was sad news for us. But the deaths of the terrorists, who were trying to brought war and destruction to Odessa as they did that before in Donbass - that's not a tragedy for Ukraine, but the same as death of a terrorist in Donbass.

Given the loyalty of local "police" to pro-Kremlin terrorists numerous activists arrived to Odessa in next days and initiated patrols to ensure public order and safety of local residents.
