UKRAINIAN BIATHLETE NAMED THE BEST YOUNG ATHLETE OF EUROPE

A young Ukrainian biathlete from the city of Chernigiv was chosen the best athlete of Europe under the age of 19 years. 16-year-old Christina Dimitrenko became a laureate of the Piotr Nurowski EOC Award. 

The decision was made at a seminar of the European Olympic Committees in the Spanish Tarragona by voting of 50 representatives of the European Olympic Committee.

Recall that this year Christina won gold in biathlon pursuit race at the second Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway.
