RESIDENTS OF NAPLES HAVE HELD THE MARCH IN MEMORY OF THE DECEASED UKRAINIAN

On September 5, a ceremonial march took place in Naples in memory of 38-year-old Anatoly Korol, a citizen of Ukraine, who was killed defending people from muggers in one local supermarkets.

The tragic incident took place at August 29 in in the town of Castello di Cerna near Naples. Then one of local markets was attacked by robbers, Anatoly and his young daughter was in the market at that time and tried to stop the criminals.

The Italians were impressed by courage of the Ukrainian. The story of the heroic act spread around the city with astonishing speed, local media reported this throughout Italy. 

The Municipality of Castello di Cisterna and the local branch of the Carabinieri are going to present Anatoly Korol to award posthumously. In addition, they provide a moral and material support to the family of the deceased.

We note that Anatoly's killers were already detained, it was previously convicted of the gang rape of 20-year-old Gianluca Lanuale and his half brother, 32-year-old Marco Di Lorenzo have been identified in the video, recorded with a surveillance camera. The brothers were hiding at a friend's, but was found and arrested by police officers.
