Putin has insulted Hungarian fighters for independence
During a visit to Hungary Putin laid flowers at the memorial to Soviet soldiers , who quell the anti-Soviet national uprising in 1956. Is this a hint that Putin considers Hungary as a part of neo-Bolshevik "Russian World?"
Vladimir Putin arrived in Budapest on February 17 for a working visit to the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Leaders of two countries met to discuss the trade and economic relations, issues of gas supplies and the use of peaceful nuclear energy.
The next day, after a meeting with the Hungary's leader Vladimir Putin went to the central cemetery of the country, where are buried more than 7 thousand Russian soldiers who died here during World War II.
Hungarian edition politiks.hu reports that the Russian president laid a wreath at the memorial to Soviet soldiers who died during the suppression of the 1956 uprising
This memorial was restored in 2014 by Russian businessman. All is good, but the inscription at the monument left unchanged. This text violates the law of Hungary.
THe inscription reads: "Eternal gratitude and glory to Soviet soldiers who gave their lives for the freedom of the Hungarian people during the counter-revolution in October 1956".

While the Basic Law of Hungary reads as follows: "our present freedom flourished from the 1956 revolution," and anyone who "tries to deny, doubt [...] or justify genocide and other crimes against humanity committed by the communist system, should be punished - up to three years in prison. "
Hungarian media indignant: "It is a gesture of Putin is an insult to the victims of the Soviet occupation forces and the pro-Soviet regimes in Central and Eastern Europe."
Sharp criticism also caused by the fact that at the wreath-laying ceremony in Budapest were not allowed to local journalists, the event was attended only by representatives of the Russian media. It is reported also that all reports of Putin's visit to the cemetery and memorial were removed from Kremlin site.
This situation is similar to the substitution of concepts in Ukraine, Belarus of Baltic states from national to neo-Soviet. In that case, if Kreml would have a similar media resource in 50s, they certainly would have tried to impose opinion for everyone around the world, that the Hungarian anti-Soviet uprising funded by the US, Israel or somebody else.
