Representatives of the MIA and SBU tried to disarm the group of DUC Right Sector soldiers
February 13, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine tried to disarm soldiers of 1st assault company of the 5th battalion DUK Right Sector.
1st assault company commander, Friend "Podolianin" reported on the incident: "Yesterday, the employers of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine, special units Alpha and Sarmath, military commandant tried to detain the group of 1st assault company of the 5th battalion DUK Right Sector under commandment of Friend "Shmel" on the way to Krasnoarmiysk. Our group moved in military bus and was stoped, they tried to disarm us and get access inside the bus, arguing, that they supposedly have information about relation of our group to drug traffic on the region. Our soldiers refused to hand over weapons and allow to representatives of MIA make examination of the bus only with the direct presence of Right Sector soldiers. The group of DUC agreed to go to the military commandant`s office in Krasnoarmiysk accompanied by police, when they was able to contact with Battalion Commander "Black" and report him about the situation".
Battalion Commander promptly arrived to the commandant's office with the requirement the immediate release of illegally detained soldiers. Police and the employers of MIA was able to make examination of the bus only with the direct presence of Battalion Commander "Black". Of course, there was no drugs in the bus, but they could be there if guys allowed cops to check us on the road. But the law enforcement officials were not satisfied by results of checking of the bus and refused to release our guys, although no legal grounds for their detention was not. Then our Battalion Commander invited them to look around the street around the commandant's office, where a small part of our battalion took position in fully armed. This forced them to quickly change their mind and release our illegally detained soldiers. Right Sector never leave brothers in troubles. Glory to Ukraine !!!"
