KYIV POLICEMEN REFUSE TO DEFEND LGBT PARADE


Employees of the National Police of Ukraine expressed their disagreement with the policy of tolerance towards the upcoming "LGBT parade" in Kiev, provided by the structure's chief Khatia Dekanoidze.

This was reported by the All-Ukrainian Union of the ATO Veterans which representatives are serving in the Ukrainian National Police.

According to representatives of the initiative group, the National Police employees received order to use physical force against those activists, who will try to disrupt the "parade." However, the policemen are refusing to counteract the patriots' actions.  

In addition, the National Police initiative group representatives have announced a press-conference on this matter on Tuesday, June 7.

"Obviously first they want us to be accustomed to protect gay-parades from patriots, to use us as guards in future, during new Maidan....

... We refuse to execute criminal orders - we refuse to use force against the patriots, who have decided to counteract the gay-parade. We call upon every officer of the Ukrainian law enforcement to respect the moral and Christian values, to protect public order, not to oppose the patriots." reads the statement.

Recall, that so-called "March of equality" is scheduled to be held in  Kyiv on June 12th. A the same time the capital residents have filed a petition on banning the LGBT event.
