NEW FAKE: CZECH IS PLANNING TO INVEST IN THE OCCUPIED CRIMEA

Russian propagandist media continue to clutter the country's information space with cheap fake content. Recently, information the the Czech companies are planning to invest in the occupied Crimean peninsula appeared in a number of Russian media resources.

However, this information has been defined by the Czech official media as a fake.  In addition the members of the Ministry of Industry and Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic have refuted such claims.

Recall, earlier Russian media informed that the Kremlin's puppet government of the occupied peninsula offered the Czech companies to implement a joint project of building a new trolleybus depot in the city of Simferopol.

The representatives of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that any interest in implementing of joint projects with the current Crimea's "government" is reduced because of sanctions.

As we see, formerly prosperous Crimea is gradually repeats the fate of Abkhazia, by becoming a gray zone without a hint of perspective after the "Russian liberators" have came there.

And just for a note to say regarding trolleybuses - in October 1958 (four years after after the ruined Crimean peninsula became a part of the Ukrainian Socialist Republic) the world’s longest trolleybus line was built by Ukrainian engineres there. The line has united the penincula's biggest cities of Simferopol, Alushta and Yalta; the line's length is 52 km, it was built and commissioned in record time – 11 months. More than 80 experts from 10 cities in Ukraine had been involved in the trolleybus line development. More - How Ukraine rebuilt Crimea.
