Today is the Day of Unity of Ukraine.

The Day of Unity in Odessa

Day of Unification was celebrated in Odessa yesterday. This event is extremely important now, when the war came to our country. Unfortunately, this date is also tragic. One year ago the first Heavenly Hundred heroes were killed in Maidan by executioners in uniform - Yury Verbitsky, Sergiy Nigoyan and Mikhail Zhiznevsky.

 Odessa community, with the participation of "Right Sector" activists, held a celebration and worthy honored the memory of the fallen.

The Day of Unity In Ivano Frankivsk

"Right Sector" Carpatia, 4th battalion of the DUK "Right Sector" together with the community celebrated the Day of Unity of Ukraine by march, laying flowers at the monument, dedicated to WUPR activists and honoring the memory of Ukrainian freedom fighters at the Memorial park of Ivano-Frankivsk. 

At the end of the meeting participants took part in forming of human chain along the streets of Independence.

The Day of Unity in Kyiv

January 22 action in honoring the memory of the Heavenly Hundred took place at the Independence square.

The action participants honored the memory of the fallen heroes who died for the freedom of the Ukrainian state.

About 500 people lighted lamps at the Independence Square and then held march on the Hrushevskoho street, were was hostile battles between Berkut and Maidan activists in January 2014.

People laid flowers, placed candles and lamps at the commemorative plaque for Sergiy Nigoyan and then went to the monument of Mikhail Zhiznevsky.

Column stoped near the stadium "Dynamo" them. Lobanovskyy, where he was laid icon-lamps with inscription "Ukraine - it's me" at which  the names of all the Heavenly Hundred heroes was proclamed by activists.
