A NATIONALIST MARCH IN GEORGIA IN MEMORY OF SUKHUMI DEFENDERS

A nationalist march initiated by the Georgian youth nationalist movement "Georgian Power" was held in Tbilisi on September 27 in honour the memory of the Georgian soldiers, who fell defending unity of the country during the war in Abkhazia. 

We have repeatedly noted that the establishment of a puppet republics is the Kremlin's most favorite tactics in its imperialist policy of enslaving the European nations since the Golden Horde times. The Abkhazian conflict is an excellent example of that. Since the Georgian release from the prison called USSR and obtaining the coveted freedom the Caucasian country has started to move by the path of development, but it was not favorable to the Kremlin, who immediately began to interfere in Georgia's internal business by inciting a separatist sentiments in the Abkhazia region. On August 14 was started first clashes between the Georgian forces and Abkhazian separatists supported by the Russian forces, soon the conflict became a real war, which claimed the lives of many loyal sons of Georgia.

The most part of this was was the battle for Sukhumi (the central city of Abkhazian region). The battle was started on September 16 after the Kremlin backed Abkhaz separatists have violated the truce signed before by the Russian and Georgian presidents. The forces were unequal, Sukhumi fell on September 27 under the greedy invader's pressure and his corrupt servants.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian nationalists didn't stood aside and came to Georgia to help the brotherly nation. The "UNA-UNSO" Argo unit joined the Georgian side against the Kremlin-backed Abkhaz separatists, some of the volunteers joined the Sukhumi Battalion of the Marine Infantry Forces of Georgia. A CPT Ustym squad prevented an amphibious assault of Russian forces near Sukhumi, sinking a Russian military motorboat. Seven UNSO members died near Sukhumi, and 30 members received the Order of Vakhtang Gorgasali medal. 

Georgian-Russian conflict is now repeated in Ukraine at the Donbass and the Crimea, the Kremlin uses the same tricks, it creates new "banana-republic", another favorable place for drug trafficking or illegal weapon trading into Europe. And now, in this difficult times the Georgian brothers didn't left us alone, a few hundreds of the Georgian volunteers came to Ukraine to help us defend the Fatherland, they joined the ranks of "Azov", "Donbass", "Right Sector" and many other volunteer military formations now. The day will come and Georgian flag will rise again over Sukhumi!
