A MILITARY EXERCISES IN CARPATHIAN WOODS IN MEMORY OF CARPATHO-UKRAINE'S HEROES

A common military exercises confined to the anniversary of foundation of the "Carpathian Sich" National Defense Organization was held in forests of Transcarpathian region this week. The military exercises were initiated by the members of "Carpathian Sich" nationalist organisation and Transcarpathian branch of the Civil Corps "Azov." 

Recall, that 77 years ago, namely November 9, 1938, the "Carpathian Sich" National Defense Organization was established by the Ukrainian nationalists in Khust town, Transcarpathian Region. This paramilitary organisation served as an armed forces of independent Carpatho-Ukraine and defended the state during the Hungarian invasion on March 1939.

Brief, but heroic history of the "Carpathian Sich" warriors remind us that the borderlines of our Motherland were mapped with blood of our great ancestors!

That's why the Ukrainian nationalist organisations of Transcarpathia, inspired by the predecessors' deeds, conducted a common military training for its activists. The training program included advanced studying of modern military tactics and individual combat skills.

The training was conducted by experienced instructors, participants of the war at Donbass, who temporary back home within rotation. Such military trainings conducted systematically and aimed to education of youth within the Ukrainian military-patriotic traditions to rise a new generation of the guardians of the Mountains and the Silver Land of Carpatho-Ukraine.
