ISLAMISTS BEGAN TO ATTACK CHURCHES IN SPAIN

Recently, Islamist vandals have attacked a church in Andalusia region of Spain, they damaging a number of sacred objects and painted "Allah" on the walls.

The attack took place at the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Carmen in Rincón de la Victoria town near Malaga, Andalusian district. As the Spanish media report, the vandals smashed glasses, damaged a statue of the Holy Mary and sanctuary, they also painted Arabic writing on the walls.

Father Augustine Carrasco, a local parish priest was the first who discovered the damage. Now, the incident is investigating by Spanish Civil Guard. The Catholic Diocese of Malaga has already expressed its deepest sadness on the attack. However, they have noted that the vandals attack is "just an isolated incident and not related to the beliefs of all Muslims."

This is the second time during this fall, when Islamists have targeted on Christian shrines in Rincón de la Victoria. Recall, 27-year old Moroccan was arrested at the end of September for attempt to destroy a statue of the Holy Mary.

The Islamist vandal repeatedly hit a glass door protecting the statue with a large rock  several times but could not shatter it. During the detainment he cried “Allahu Akhbar!”

In recent years was noted a mass migration of Muslims from Morocco to Andalusia, which is the most southern region of Spain. Recall, in 2012, the Gatestone Institute reported on the region's Islamists have called to start so-called "Andalusian Spring," to return the territories "occupied by Spain" to Islam.
