YURIY SIROTYUK WAS RELEASED TODAY

Yuriy Sirotyuk, a member of Ukrainian nationalist party "Svoboda", a political prisoner of Poroshenko's government was released today, November 9, after two months detainment in Lukyanovsky detention center of Kyiv for organisation of pretest action and clashes with security forces on August 31 near the Ukraine's parliament, caused by adoption of anti-national laws on spesial status of occupied territories of Donbass. 

Earlier, on November 4, the prosecutor's petition on extend detention for the nationalist was rejected by the jude of Pechersk District Court of Kyiv Katerina Tarasyuk. Since the court has no legal basis for Yuriy's further detainment, it appointed a night house arrest to January 7 as a preventive measure for the nationalist.


Yuriy's wife, children and dozens of comrades have greeted him near the detention center. After release Sirotyuk answered a journalists' questions, he noted that detainment didn't broke him and he is ready to continue the struggle.

"If the government really think they can intimidate me if make - they are wrong! I'm the one who I am. And if I answered for all I been charged with, then Efremov, Yatsenyuk, Avakov and others will also give an answer for all their deeds!" - he said.
