RIGHT ACTIVISTS WERE ARRESTED IN KYIV

Stanislav Krasnow and Oksana Shelest, activists of Civil Corps Azov were arrested by SBU employees in Kyiv region yesterday, on February 28. According to preliminary information Stanislav is accused of illegal possession of weapons.

Stanislav Krasnow is a native of Crimea, a participant of the war in Donbass, particularly he took part in battles in one of the most hottest points of the frontline in the village of Pisky. In addition, Stanislaw is an active participant of the Crimea blockade. In the Russian Federation he is wanted by FSB (Russia's Security Service).

Oksana Shelest is a public activist from Kyiv, she has been active in counteractions to illegal building in Kyiv.

Both they are passionate patriots of Ukraine and activists of Ukrainian nationalist movement long before the events of Maidan.

"Currently, Security Service of Ukraine accused the activists of the cooperation with the Russian Security Services and illegal keeping of weapons and explosive substances, which is astonishingly cynical nonsense. According to the preliminary information, both of them were beaten." - reports Azov media resource.

 Yesterday in the evening the activists of Kyiv branch of Civic Corps Azov initiaded an action in support of the detained activists in the front of the central department of Secret Service of Ukraine.
