42 TERRORISTS' ATTACKS IN DONETSK SECTOR OVER YESTERDAY

Russia-backed terrorists groups of Donbass violated the ceasefire between Stanytsia Luhanska and Shchastia in the Luhansk sector yesterday. 43 terrorists’ attacks were registerd by Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk sector. Moreover, one in three assaults involved use of heavy armor. Donbass terrorists used 122-mm howitzers in Zaitseve-Mayorsk the area nearby the contact line, launching about 160 shells. Moreover, Russia-backed terrorist groups used mortar launchers in the vicinity of Zaitseve, Mayorsk, Leninske, Avdiivka and Opytne. They launched more than 200 mortar bombs.

“Four attacks were registred in the Mariupol sector. A sniper was working in Maryinka and a 82-mm mortar launchers was used by militants in Shyrokyne,” informed Colonel Andriy Lysenko, a spokesperson of ATO press center.

According to Colonel Lysenko, Ukraine’s Security Service officers detained a fighter of pro-Russian terrorist grup in Kramatorsk. The local inhabitant joined Russia-backed militant group in spring 2014 and kept armed watch at checkpoints. Due to non-payment of money and extortion he abandoned the arms and came back home where he was hiding from law enforcements. “On the contrary, another former militant joined the program “You are waited for at home” and returned to his family. A resident of Sloviansk joined a terrorist group in 2014. Having received weapons, he was inspecting vehicles at checkpoints, digging trenches, building firing positions and unloading ammunition. After a time, he understood all the hypocrisy of the so-called "Russian world" ideas and came to the territory controlled by Ukraine, joining the program “You are waited for at home”, informed the spokesman.
