UKRAINIANS AGAINST MIGRANTS! PROTESTS IN YAGOTIN

Yesterday a group of liberals in cooperation with representatives of migration service have held a propaganda action in Yagotin town, Kyiv region. The action was held within a propaganda campaign, which is aimed to imposion Yagotin residents an opinion about extreme importance of opening a temporal accomodation center for so-called "refugees" in Ukraine.


However, residents of ordinary Ukrainian town have shown a great level of national consciousness and strongly rejected the extreme liberal propaganda. As result more than five hundred people have came to express their disagreement to adopt a foreign guests with a dubious reputation, especially against the backdrop of beastliness, they were committing in other European cities for over a year. The action was also attended by representatives of Ukrainian nationalist organisations. The activists and Yagotin residents have prepared formal appeals to the Kyiv regional council, to the president, to the government, to the Supreme Soviet and to the Migration Service, in which they emphasize on admissibility of accomodation of refugees from Syria or Africa in their town and full disagreement of the town community with such decision. In addition, Yagotin residents demanded to provide the accomodation center's buildings and for inner refugees, who were forced to escape from Donbass and Crimea since the center was built for the state budget costs!

the meeting was also attended by a citizen of Sweden from Malmo city, who told about the realities in today's Sweden. Praticularry he noted, that the government's policy on migrants has almost destroyed Sweden. 51 % of locals in Malmo are not Swedes. According to him these dependents aren't working, they live on full state support.

Then the floor was taken by a representative of migration service. In her speech she told about so-called "european values" and about obligations before Europe; also according to her, public hearings were held, on which the town community agreed on building a temporal accommodation center and adoption of refugees. However, this was real "surprise" for the townspeople, they claim that there was no hearings and no one gave an agreement on this. The refugee advocate's speech was held under disapproving shouts of Yagotin residents, who expressed their clear message "Ukraine is for Ukrainians!"

Next session of Yagotin Town Council is planned on March 17. The town community is set resolutely to fight for their future and the future of their children.
